What to include in your calibration quote request
The more of this you can give us up front, the faster and firmer the quote — and the less likely we are to arrive without the right reference standards.
- Makes, models and quantities. A rough list is fine. “About twenty callipers and a dozen pressure gauges” is enough to price.
- Ranges and accuracy required, if you know them. Particularly useful for pressure, torque and temperature work.
- On-site or in-lab. Fixed equipment stays put; portable instruments can come to Werrington.
- Your location, and whether there are several sites.
- What you are audited against — ISO 9001, IATF 16949, AS9100, TGA, HACCP. It changes what the certificate needs to show.
- Any deadline. If you are working to an audit date, say so and we schedule backwards from it.
What happens after you send it
- Within one business day you get a written quote — fixed price, not an hourly estimate.
- We tell you plainly if something is better sent elsewhere, out of our scope, or genuinely needs an ISO/IEC 17025-accredited laboratory rather than traceable calibration.
- Once approved we book a date that fits your production calendar, and confirm what we are bringing.
- Certificates follow the job, with as-found and as-left readings, measurement uncertainty and a recommended recall date.
