Calibration methodology

For probes and sensors: visual inspection and continuity check, as-found readings at minimum 3 reference temperatures, adjustment if applicable, as-left readings with uncertainty calculation, NATA-traceable certificate.

For chambers and rooms (mapping): sensor placement per ISPE / WHO guidelines (typically 9-30 points), 24-72 hour data logging at operating setpoint, door-open and recovery test, analysis of uniformity, gradient, stability, and recovery, full validation report with raw data, photos, and certificates.

On-site mapping and validation

Mapping a cold room or environmental chamber means deploying multiple traceable sensors, logging continuously for the required period, and analysing the result for uniformity and stability. Our mobile units carry 16-32 channel data acquisition systems, NATA-traceable reference probes, field calibration ovens, and climate-controlled transit cases.

Is your cleanroom and cold-room mapping suitable for TGA / GMP audit?

Yes. Our mapping reports follow ISPE and WHO guidelines and include the documentation TGA inspectors expect.

How often should temperature data loggers be calibrated?

Annual is standard. Quarterly or semi-annual for safety-critical applications (vaccine cold chain, validated GMP storage).

What’s the difference between calibration and mapping?

Calibration verifies a single sensor against a reference. Mapping verifies that an entire chamber, room, or storage volume maintains a specified condition across all locations and over time.
